Welcome to New Moon. New Moon and its affiliates provide access to the New Moon website (the "website") and sell our products to you subject to the conditions set out on this page.
Please read these conditions carefully before using the New Moon website. By using the New Moon website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions. In addition, when you use any current or future New Moon service, you will also be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to that service.

In this catalog, all $ prices refer to US dollars . For the purposes of ordering, ALL UK and European orders must be in Pounds Sterling prices and ALL other orders must be calculated in US$ prices

You can pay by:
1) Credit card - Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo and Switch/Maestro are all accepted. This means any orders in US$ are changed by the bank to UK pounds and so the UK pounds amount will appear and then *your* bank will convert at their rate. This does mean the end price will vary to me slightly more or less than the actual total. We are New Moon on your card statment.
2) Cheque/Money Order - Please make them payable to New Moon. SORRY - WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT US$ MONEY ORDERS NOR US$ CHECKS.
3) Cash - US$ or UK£ only - we suggest wrapping the cash in tin foil to disguise it and check with us to make sure you are sending the correct amount. We also suggest choosing a safe method of sending the cash. A portion of all US$ cash orders is donated to the Witches Voice.
4) UK Postal Orders - Please make them payable to New Moon
5) Bank Transfer - Please contact us first.
We at New Moon understand many internet businesses are slow to send out orders or do not send at all and we understand the caution many take with regards to online businesses. We are willing to answer any questions you may have and will advise you of any delay to filling your order. Please feel free to phone, email or fax us about your order. 1) Where can I visit your shop? I need my order FAST!
Currently, we have warehouse facilities only as we are now too big for a shop. You can visit us at a show like the PF National conference in Croydon or the PF Devon and Cornwall Conference in Tintagel or why not check our 2 main domains:

If you select special delivery or courier delivery and specify in the order when you need this by, we can let you know if we can do it when we receive the order.
2) What are Signature digits?
Signature or 'sig' digits (or 'CVV2' in the credit card business) are the numbers printed on the back of your credit on the paper of the signature strip, towards the top and right of the strip. There are between three and ten digits. We only require the last three.
Mastercard & Visa have introduced this system to provide greater levels of security to protect the customer. The signature digits are separate from the embossed numbers and from those contained in the magnetic strip. This means that you need to have the physical card to know the number.
We actually have no choice in collecting these digits, Mastercard and Visa will not authorise 'cardholder not present' ie mail order charges without them.
Cheque orders take a minimum of 2 weeks to start processing.
3) Do I need to pay for Special Delivery, Courier or Recorded Delivery?
Royal Mail has admitted to delivering over 2 million pieces of first class mail each week late and they admit to losing over a million pieces of mail each week.
We strongly encourage you to choose recorded/special delivery OR international recorded for our international customers to ensure delivery or if necessary tracability.
Do not sign for anything until you have ensured the packaging is undamaged.
Please note that ordinary uk post does not insure your order if it is over �30 in value, or contains fragile items or jewellery.
4) How do I order?

5) Is your shopping cart secure?
Yes, it is. When we come to take your credit card details, we move to a specialised secure server we rent. The only purpose of this server is to take secure payment details (so the people who run it are very good at making sure its safe!)
We tyhen get the details securely to print out, and they are then removed from the server for extra safety.
6) I don't have a credit card - Can I still order from you?
YES! We accept CASH, cheques, credit cards, money orders, postal orders, travellers cheques
7) Where is my order?
If you included a special request for a date needed by we do those next if no secure method of delivery has been selected. Then we do all our regular orders which is why we do require up to 28 days for delivery within the UK (more outside the UK).
While we do process most orders within about 7 days, delivery is not that fast *especially* if you have not selected a secure method of shipping. Please don't ask where your order is or when are you going to get it unless a) 21 days have passed or b) you haven't had our autoresponder

Conditions Relating to the Sale of Products to You
This section deals with conditions relating to the sale of products by New Moon to you.
7. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from New Moon, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product and execute a service which is accepted by us when we send e-mail confirmation to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we dispatch goods to you. Any products and services on the same order which we have not shipped do not form part of that contract. All prices include a picking, cleansing and blessing service fee which we execute upon filling the order. By agreeing to purchase from New Moon you agree to pay the fee for this service. Once this service is rendered which only happens upon dispatch of goods, the service aspect of the contract will be considered to be complete. Once this service has been completed, the fee in non-refundable. Please be sure to notify us immediately if you do not wish to complete this sale due to this service charge so that we may cancel your order. In the case of cancellation, no charge will be made. All prices include this 20% service fee and no additional charge will be levied at any time for this service.
Please review this Returns Policy, which applies to all products purchased from us. Returns must be accompanyed by a returns authorization number which you will need to obtain from us within 7 days of receiving the item. Customers in the European Union are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period of seven business days. Details of this statutory right and an explanation of how to exercise it are provided on the statutory rights page. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect (however, click here to find out what to do if you have received a damaged, defective or incorrect item).
Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges,
service charges included in our prices and other services--see our Refunds Policy.
In the event of New Moon sending you a replacement for a damaged, defective or wrong item, you must return the item to New Moon within 14 days. New Moon (Enterprises) Ltd reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement item to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original item to us within 14 days of the date on which New Moon confirms we will issue a replacement.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Pricing and availability
We are currently unable to list availability information for products sold by us on the website. Goods which are made to your specifications (ie. special order sizes, stone selection or made-to-measure garments) are special order only and will take longer to provide. Please note that dispatch estimates are just that. They are not guaranteed dispatch times and should not be relied upon as such. As we process your order, we will inform you by e-mail if any products you order turn out to be unavailable.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the thousands of products in our catalogue are mispriced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our confirmation procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
When ordering goods from New Moon for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from New Moon, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities. Athames are not able to be shipped to Iceland, some states and some other countries. Some countries such as the Netherlands or Australia may require that you posess paperwork relating to the import of athames. Please comply with your local laws.
Conditions Relating to Both Your Use of NewMoon(Enterprises)Ltd and Sales to You
New Moon (Enterprises) Ltd does not sell products for purchase by children. If you are under 18, you may use New Moon (Enterprises) Ltd websites only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
12. Electronic communications
When you visit New Moon websites or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the website. You will be subject to the policies and Conditions of Conditions of Use & Sale in force at the time that you use the website or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). 15. Events beyond our resonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
